Wines for Easter
Depending on your entrée choice, there are plenty of great pairings to go with your Easter dinner. With ham, we recommend a Riesling or Gewurztraminer. They offer lively, aromatic profiles with enough sweetness to balance the saltiness of the meat. If it's lamb for dinner, then you can't go wrong with a red from the Northern Rhone, a right bank Bordeaux or an Aussie Shiraz. If turkey is on the menu, then a full bodied Chardonnay from Burgundy or California or a lightly chilled Beaujolais or Pinot Noir works beautifully.
Happy Easter from our Co-op family to yours!
