Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara
Made in the traditional method from partially dried local grapes. Pressing of dried grapes provides juice with rich, raisinated character that carries through to the final wine. It also has concentrated sugar, allowing for a higher alcohol content in the final product. Corteforte Amarone has a freshness that combines well with its depth and structure, making it a more diverse food wine than many Amarone, whilst maintaining classic character. Corteforte is a very small winery making only 30,000 bottles of wine per year.
