Abruzzo is one of the few regions in Italy to have an appellation entirely dedicated to rosé, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo, with examples that can last many years. This rosato is simpler, but has substance below the surface.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe 2024 Abruzzo growing season was defined by a hot and dry summer, causing an early harvest to begin in the first ten days of August. Despite the early ripening, the grapes retained excellent quality and freshness, with no damage to the fruit. The harvest was smooth, with healthy grapes across varieties, promising a vintage of excellent quality.
