Proemio Cabernet Franc Reserve

This Reserve Cabernet Franc is silky and complex with elements of dark berry jam, fresh currants, a hint of cassis and well-balanced herbaceous influence. It has a lovely balance of herbs with fruit elements, tannins, and acid. Proemio is a small estate founded by Marcello Bocardo, a third generation share cropper and winemaker of Italian heritage. This winery is a passion project for him with the goal of producing more "old world" style wines than what are typical to the Mendoza region. The wines are certified organic and made in small quantity.
