Aged for 8 months in 20% new oak, this wine has notes of black cherry, dried herbs, peppercorns and a touch of toast. These aromas are followed by blackberry, licorice and smooth tannins on the palate. One of the most versatile reds, Gamay is very approachable and expressive without being overpowering.
