Black Hills Estate Syrah

Ripe raspberry and black cherry aromas are intense and well defined in the 2017 Syrah, and they are joined by hints of freshly cracked black pepper. On the palate dark chocolate and sweet baking spice notes combine seamlessly with the fresh berry fruit flavours. The palate shows all the best aspects of the 2017 growing season through its rich concentration, fresh acidity and fine, silky tannins. This is a wine that is drinking very well now but also has the structure to help it mature and develop further complexity of the next 6 to 8 years.
