Chateau Recougne Bordeaux Blanc

A beautiful blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Sauvignon Gris. Bright and crisp with fresh cut grass, cape gooseberry elements, and citrusy notes all riding on a clean, crisp but textured backbone. When Henry IV visited Chateau Recougne, he was so impressed by the quality of the wines that he declared their land to be "Terra Recognita" or recognized land. The Chateau and winery have been part of the Xavier Milhade family for four generations now. Their land covers 100 hectares overlooking the Dordogne on Bordeaux's right bank.
