It's a bold wine with good grip and deep character. Cabernet from Tuscany has a bit higher acidity and is slightly less jammy than some coming from hot areas like California. What does that mean? Drink it with a bistecca, bolognese, or other tomato-based pastas and see how it compliments instead of overwhelms the food. YUM!
Gemma and Paolo Baratta founded Tenuta Monteti in 1998 after years of searching for the "perfect" land. They are in southern Maremma in Tuscany, a region that has become famous for wines made from French varietals.
