Tawse SPARK! Riesling

Made in the traditional method, this wine spent 12 months on the lees which has resulted in a luscious mousse with a lasting finish. The nose has lovely notes of lemon meringue, citrus zest, and caramel. The palate is off dry and crisp, with bursting flavours of caramel apple, coconut, and brioche.

"A traditional method sparkling riesling, this has evolved very nicely and is drinking well at this stage, an amalgam of crème brulée and lemon custard, toasty-biscuity notes, of solid complexity overall. Theres a pinch of dosage (sweetness), but its consumed by the underlying acids to overall balanced effect. A fine, aperitivo-style half bottle for current consumption; all good here.
