The Abruzzo are rather unknown as a winegrowing region, except for the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which originates from it. The winery Colle Corviano in Loreto Aprutino belongs to the growing region Pescara, where Pinot Grigio is grown in selected vineyards located near the village of Loreto Aprutino in the Pinot Grigio IGP area, on stony, structured and drained limestone soil at 300 mt above the sea level, showing pleasant freshness with a well integrated acidity.
Pale straw with light green hues.
NOSE: Bouquet of white fruits, ripe golden apples and pears.
On the palate, refreshing ripe apple and peach notes end with a gentle acidity. A round, lightly floral wine with a fullness and spice that brings lots of appeal.
