The brand Crooked Water originally began as a select "in-house" vodka brand that was made specially for sale their micro-distillery in Wakaw, SK. If you have been lucky enough to purchase a bottle while visiting the shop you will have seen that Crooked Water is in reference to the nearby Wakaw Lake, to which the name of our town "Wakaw" (also a palindrome) is Cree for the word "crooked" again in reference to the town's nearby lake.
