This Riesling is from the clay and limestone rich Quarry Road Estate vineyard, planted in 2007. Viticultural practices include vertical shoot positioning, shoot thinning, cluster thinning, hand leaf removal and hand harvest. Certified organic. This 2021 Quarry Road Riesling is destined to impress. The nose is a delightful experience of Granny Smith apple, pear and lemon drop, with the quintessential yet delicate flinty character. The palate shows aromas of orchard fruit and citrus zest, that are complemented by minerality, and a crisp finish. This Riesling dances on the palate and encourages the second glass with ease.

Pairing food with this Quarry Road Riesling will be best expressed with spicy dishes, such as traditional Paella, or a fresh mango salad with lemon juice and cayenne pepper.
