9 Mile Belgian Tripel 500ml

The Holiday Season is about togetherness, about preserving old traditions and creating new ones. We gather to celebrate and we gather to reflect, about times past, present and to share our hopes for the future.

We at Saskatoon Co-op have created something bold and new, a Collaboration beer with 9 Mile Legacy that will be created every year, on into the future. The beer will always be in the Belgian Tripel style, but each year, the recipe will be tweaked according to current inspiration. Belgian Tripels are oomphy, high alcohol beers that can age up to 6 years. Delicious upon release, but fascinating to witness as the ageing and mellowing progresses. It is our hope that you will anticipate each vintage release and that some will choose to engage in the beer’s cellaring potential and lay some by for the future, each year observing the effect of careful cellaring on each unique vintage, as the years go by and the gatherings and collaborations continue.

Vintage 2023-Aroma: Clove, spice, caramel

Appearance: Deep Gold

Taste: Spice, caramel, dried fruit with a peppery finish

Vintage 2024- Aroma: Spice, oak, caramel, pears and ripe apple

Appearance: Deep Gold

Taste:  Spice, caramel, ripe apple, pear, medium to full body.
