Vino Intrepido Pound of Flesh is different to the previous This Little Piggy Vermentino because it has been given more skins contact. In fact, Vino Intrepido Pound of Flesh was fermented entirely on skins and only pressed off once it was completely dry, then transferred to oak for 3 months before bottling unfiltered and unfined. Vino Intrepido Pound of Flesh smells of almonds, apricot, lime, caramel with floral notes. On the palate, there is a gritty, nutty, exotic feel. Showing brine, cake, and a lovely acidic zing. This Vino Intrepido picks up on the back palate filling your mouth with flavours of bubblegum, caramel, menthol, and an almond finish.
